Hi, I’m Aisling Fallon, a board-certified lactation consultant, paediatric nurse, and mum of three. With over 10 years of nursing experience in Ireland and abroad, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children and supporting parents in one of Ireland’s leading children’s hospitals.

My journey into lactation support comes from personal experience. Despite my background in paediatric nursing, I found breastfeeding my own babies challenging. It quickly became clear to me just how much more support parents in Ireland need when it comes to feeding their little ones.

That’s what inspired me to create The Latch Effect. My goal is to provide calm, compassionate, and judgment-free breastfeeding support for families across Ireland. Whether you’re preparing to breastfeed, facing challenges along the way, or planning for weaning, I’m here to guide you with evidence-based advice, practical solutions, and plenty of reassurance.
